Today, the developing world is faced with the challenges of modernizing infrastructures, enhancing technological resources, and developing human assets to attract more direct foreign investments. This requires collaborative and integrative work by all the major stakeholders, particularly those engaged in the construction industry.
Thus, the ICCIDC-III is an endeavor to bring together renowned and qualified engineers, construction managers, contractors, clients, academics and other professionals from all over the world, for an exchange of thoughts and experiences pertaining to the concepts, trends and practices of present-day civil engineering, architectural engineering, and construction engineering and management tools.
The ICCIDC-II was held in Cairo, Egypt in 2010, and the ICCIDC-I was held in Karachi, Pakistan in 2008.
